Burn baby burn

I was on my way to work this morning when I saw some thick black clouds rolling over 71 hwy.  The smoke seemed to be getting darker and I was running a bit early to work so I decided to pull off the highway and investigate.  I found a 3 story building at Linwood and Benton surrounded by fire trucks with 3 aerial ladders pumping water into it.  Fire was still visible in all of the windows on the 3rd floor when I shot these pictures though it is obscured by the smoke.

Potty Master

Well Ryan has suprised us by starting his potty training early. The other day he just asked to go, sat up on the pot and went " pee in potty" as he says. It's a nice start, no pressure but it gives us hope of only one set of diapers to change some day.

Visit from Gamma

My mom came over today to visit while Jessi was away at a "half day at
the spa" compliments of you know who. We played inside and out and
had a great time. After she left we even took a quick rest in the cool
grass.
