Sinkhole

We visited a deep sinkhole in the middle of the jungle where we saw a
cool show with a bunch of sweaty painted locals playing an ancient
ball game.

Arts and Crafts

We made some Mayan pottery with clay from the local lagoon. Here is my
Mayan turtle which if you flip him over he doubles as a gravy boat.

Mexico - where ancient form and modern function meet.

Birthday wishes

An old friend from highschool and his wife came down for the wedding ,
when we found out it was her birthday we bribed a street band to come
and play her a happy Mexican tune for the occasion.

Wedding day

Congratulations Matt and Kezia! They picked a beautiful day to get
married in sunny Playa Del Carmen

The beautiful emerald green of spring turns into the murkish algae green of summer.

Typical Fire Station Dinner

Yes every meat group is represented. Also just outside this picture
lurks some of the tastiest greasiest home fries you've ever laid eyes
on.

Grandad

I had a chance to eat out with some of my favorite people in the
world. After 9 months of surgery and nursing home food my grandad
finally gets to enjoy a little hard earned shrimp at Red Lobster.

And I wonder why I can't lose weight...

Correcto!

Congratulations Jennifer Nading of Kansas City Missouri! The correct
answer was The Liberty Memorial.
Jessi and I enjoyed an awesome day out and visited the WWI Museum
inside the memorial and the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art. Both
were a blast and I highly recommend the cafe in the Kemper museum.
Deliciouso as Ryan would say.
