Shout out!

I was looking at all the hits I’ve had to my blog and I noticed that a good many of them were not from Kansas/Missouri.  In fact I’ve had multiple hits from Washington, New York, Texas, Colorado, California, Indiana, and even as far as London, Poland, Brazil, and Islamabad Pakistan.

I don’t get very many comments on my blog but I do see lots of hits.  I just wanted to tell all of my unknown visitors from around the world hello!  If you do land here due to some search or you are just passing by, feel free to leave a quick comment just to say hello.

Thanks for reading everyone, I have a lot of fun putting this up and it is nice to see so many visitors stopping by.

We stayed up late last night setting this bad boy up and gluing it down. As you can see it was totally worth it!

Here is the table freshly glued with some weighty books clamping it down.

The next morning I set up the camcorder and waited for Jessi to bring him down.

Ryan went to work instantly.  He loves it!

Deanna Rose Farm

We had an amazing day out today. We met up with our good friend Sam
and her daughter Sariah and headed out to Overland Park for some
barnyard fun. We watched a cow get a bath, bottle fed some onery baby
goats and even fed some ducks. The best part for me however was the
fishing pond. There is something special about the first time you take
your son fishing. I don't know what it was but showing him how to put
the worm on the hook and how to cast it carefully in the water made me
feel like a real dad. Catching a little fish was an added bonus.

Lookie what I found!

New train table

Well after a major collapse of our old train table we have purchased a
new and cooler one. Last night I put the table part together and soon
jessi and I will finish all of the cool mountains and cranes and such
that mount on top. Until that day comes though, Ryan is making his own
train tracks and loving his new table.

Ryan with his first tball set

Firestation visit

Jessi and the kiddos came up to the station this morning. I'm doing a
48 hour stint so I was missing them like crazy. We snapped some
awesome pictures that I'll put up in a few days ( this is from my phone)

Little Buddy

This is the little frog who lives around our koi pond. As I now keep
bleach water in the pond, he is the only living thing in the area.
It's hard to see but he has some cool silvery racing stripes down his
back that shine like crazy in the sun.

Blue Cheese?

The Boys

We had a great weekend! Chris stayed over so she could do her school
clinicals and we watched Dominic during the day. So much fun. Here is
a couple of pictures from an indoor soft play area in Zona Rosa.
Afterwards we snacked at Jimmy Johns yummah.

Just how Red is your Neck?

The summer is officially over

When I had to schedule our pool closing I almost shed a tear. I love
summer and it is so hard knowing that my Tevas and shorts are soon
going to give way to Sketchers and jeans. Boooooohoooooo

The Blog Ninja is back at it again

Well a few of you know that I have been trying to get the Europe trip portion of this blog published in a coffee table style photo book.  I have had a few setbacks in the process and I'm still not very far along.  I actually made some progress today which makes me really happy.  The software for downloading your blog and formatting it for a book has improved DRAMATICALLY since my last attempt and this is really making things a lot easier.  I thought I'd post a picture up so you can see one of the pages I'm currently working on.  It should expand if you click on the picture so you can see it a little better.

We’ve had some awesome visits from our friends and family.  Ryan absolutely loves playing with his pals.  Look at Sariah, could you say no to a sweet plea from a beautiful princess?  Me either!

These dogs are getting a work out around here.  Jessi found their special toy (a little toy bear on the blue pillow in the picture) and we toss that ratty old thing continually.

Spit and Spin

Just like one of the most famous children's toys of all time The Sit and Spin. Seth man loves to slowly spin himself around on his playmat, smiling and oozing formula out of the sides of his pretty little mouth.
